Hi Barbara, Wow, thanks for the fast response...ok, here goes:
Long or short sleeve? Long sleeved, thigh length on the light gauze drawstring blouse in white or off-white
What is your budget? Around $150.00
What sort of coloring are you? I am fair-skinned with brown, (quickly turning to gray), hair.
Here is some general info...I am 5'6" inches high, 138 lbs. I wear 12-14 size and as I said before, I have a high, tree-trunky waist.
So attractive...anyway...I love the highland bodice with the side adjusters and the long cotton gauze skirt floor length skirt! Ok I'm repeating myself here...you know, that way cool outfit on Chava...
I asked my friend about what colors she would like and she suggested soft colors like a sage green. So I guess sage it is if that works for you :-) Again, thanks, Jan
_____ Hey Jan, OK here are some suggestions for the wedding.
I am going to guess an extra large for you, although if you are not very busty, you might want a large bodice. I didn't look at the highland bodice stash yet, I just threw together some garb sets that might work. Remeber the photos are NOT TRUE TO COLOR...that is not possible in digital. (Especially the low end stuff I use.) The photos have the bodice on top, the terri cotta blouse bottom left, and the skirt bottom right. I don't have any white long sleeve, and I am still waiting for info on my shipment of fabric. I do have some short sleeve peasant blouses Since I wasn't able to get the natural fabric in time to get ready for upcoming shows, I got some colored stuff. I do have an interesting terra cotta, and though the photos don't seem to reproduce the color well, it is a lot like a clay pot. The other fabrics I have in stock are red, purple, and a pale green that is half way between a sea foam and a mint. None of those are done, and it will take me about a week to get them shipped, and I am worried about your deadline.

| The bodice is this really cool(e) brocade. What doesn't show in the photo is that there is a maroon pinstripe in the pattern that picks up the maroon in the skirt. I haven't put the gromets in the bodice yet, so you could have it with clasps or gromets.

This brocade is really a modern pattern, but when it is put together in a bodice, it looks like a herring bone tweed. It wouldn't pass costume review for the stricter fairs, but would look very festive for the wedding.

The solid green bodice is always appropriate. You can see it can be dressed up with bright ribbons to add festiveness.

Email me if you would like a printed copy of this catalog. It is nothing more than a stale copy of what you see here, but I am glad to send it to you if really want one.
