Blackwork, Redwork,
Spanishe, counted thread work. A
lady’s art.
I have painstakingly
recreated historic and contemporary art in the machine embroidery format. I have been accused of “cheating”
by using the machine, but I “sew” every stitch on the computer. When done on a linen or muslin fabric,
the look is surprisingly close to the hand work I have done in the past. And if that is cheating, well so
be it.
Basic Blackwork Designs
You may notice that
there are no prices listed. Well
that is because the price of the piece is based on the stitch count. $1/1k stitches.
Tell me the size of the piece you want,
and I will give you a price quote.

Borders These can be done as strips that you apply to
existing garments. Or you can send me your fabric and I will do it
directly on it. If you have your own machine, get the file to
compile for as long as your hoop will allow, then multi frame for as long as
you need. |
